Mark Williams joined OHT in February 2022. Mark joins from his previous role as CFO of Insect Technology Group which was a world leading developer of sustainable protein and other products derived from insects, specifically Black Soldier Fly larvae. In his four years in that role Mark raised over US$50 million in equity and over $100m in project and holding company level debt funding. He was responsible for the finance, IT, IP, legal and compliance functions across the Group’s eight locations around the world. Prior to that, Mark was an investment banker for UBS and Nomura, holding numerous senior positions running teams across Asia Pacific which were responsible for delivering capital markets and advisory services for corporate clients. Mark began his career with KPMG, where is qualified as a chartered accountant in Sydney.

Nico Stein joined OHT in 2024, bringing over two decades of invaluable experience in the realms of human and animal nutrition, food & beverages, biotech and beyond to Ocean Harvest Technology. Nico has navigated the entire value chain of nutrition, leaving a lasting impact at esteemed organizations including Nestle, Biomin, and Anpario.

With a strategic mindset and commercial acumen honed through years of experience, Nico has spearheaded strategic planning processes, route-to-market development initiatives, driving growth and expansion across diverse global markets. Holding certificates in animal husbandry for poultry, swine, and ruminants, he possesses a deep understanding of the agricultural industry and its needs. Nico holds degrees in Economics, Business Administration, and Sociology, reflecting his multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving and innovation.

Chris joins the team from FrieslandCampina, a dairy co-operative and consumer food manufacturer where he was the Finance Director for UK & Ireland, before that he held various senior finance positions including at the leading multinational Kimberly-Clark UK.

He has a degree in Physics with Astrophysics and is CFA charter holder and an FCCA chartered accountant.

Basil Kennedy has been with OHT since 2010, responsible for overseeing the activities within the organization which contribute to the effective production of goods and services.

Currently dividing his time between the Vietnamese and Irish facilities, Mr Kennedy has gained extensive knowledge and experience within the seaweed industry and in the procurement of seaweeds globally.

Ian joined OHT in December 2022 as our Technical Director and joins us from Nutribio Ltd, a premix and animal nutrition supplement manufacturer in Co. Cork, Ireland.

Ian holds a PhD in Animal Nutrition and Fertility from University College Dublin, and an Agricultural Science degree from the University of Reading.

Declan has a BSc (Hons) in Applied Aquatic Ecology from Galway Mayo Institute of Technology in 2005. After working as a Research Assistant in the Irish Seaweed Centre in NUI Galway for 5 years, Declan joined OHT in 2011.

Declan has significant expertise and experience in the areas of hatchery production and near-shore farming of cultivated seaweed. He is responsible for the sourcing of local seaweed species through wild harvesting or using his extensive network of seaweed harvesters. His role involves working with suppliers to ensure the quality and safety of the seaweed raw materials.

Dan has been consulting with Ocean Harvest since 2014. Initially focused on the Equine market, he has collaborated with some of Europes most prestigious studs and stables and has helped to drive a stronger awareness of the OceanFeed™ Equine product.

More recently, Dan’s role has expanded and is critical in building and maintaining business for Ocean Harvest globally, including supporting the development of our marketing strategy and exhibition planning

Saul began his professional career developing technological additives and mycotoxin binders at Tolsa S.A., but on his way so far, he has collaborated with important companies specializing in additives for animal feed such as Huvepharma or Andrés Pintaluba in the technical-commercial areas.

Saul is an agronomist specialized in animal productions from Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Agrónomos, Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Ari joined OHT as a consultant in January 2022, to generate sales and build and manage sales channels in APAC, and to support EMEA sales as well.
Ari has over 45 years´ experience in animal nutrition, in sales, sales management and business development, the last 40 years he has been active in the global technical feed additive market. After initially being employed in his native Finland in the two main animal nutrition companies, he moved to working in the international animal nutrition market and has held various sales and management positions, most recently in Finnfeeds/Danisco Animal Nutrition and in AB Vista, where he was one of the founding members to set up a successful feed additive business for the British ABF Group.

Andy joined OHT in November 2021 as our Financial Controller. He has managed finance teams through periods of change and instigated improvements to processes in order to improve efficiencies. Andy brings hands on experience in accounting including management accounts, statutory accounts, accounting for multicurrency transactions, consolidation accounting, forecasting and budgeting.

Linh joined OHT in July 2023 and brings her experience in financial accounting and data analytics from previous roles in construction and manufacturing. Her experience ranges across operations, cost management, profit and margin analysis, budgeting and financial reporting.

Linh holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance and an MSc in Investment Management from the University of Surrey, Linh is fluent in Vietnamese.

Gulnur has been with OHT since the middle of 2017. She has over 10 years experience within the Quality department and has worked in various industries. She has a Regulatory Affairs & Quality certificate from Limerick Institute of Technology (2022), MSc. Degree on Quality Management (2013, has a Bachelor of Chemistry (2009) and also an associate degree an Laborant and Veterinary Health. (2008).

Gulnur is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the Quality Management System in Ireland and supports the Vietnamese production team. She also ensures sites are fully compliant with all regulatory corporate guidelines

Jenna joined OHT in February 2024 as Business and Marketing Coordinator with a varied background in marketing, events and operations. She also holds a degree in Media Communications from the University of Gloucestershire.

Her role will see her providing administrative support to the management team and applying her marketing knowledge to enhance OHT’s continuous growth.

David joined OHT in July 2021, as Regional Sales Manager after working for many years in Animal Nutrition sales, as well as Production Management with large scale US swine systems. Having worked with large companies like DSM Nutritional Products and Smithfield Foods as well as with branded feed companies, feed cooperatives and producers he has a wide range of background experience. The experience and network of connections David brings will be valuable to the growth of OHT product sales in all species in the USA.
